Omaha's six-game winning streak snaps as Salina rolls past the Beef

SALINA, Kan. — Andrew Jackson threw five touchdown passes as Salina rolled to a 54-34 Champions Indoor Football win Saturday and snapped Omaha’s six-game winning streak.

Derrick Bernard threw for 166 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for a fourth for the Beef (7-2), who led 19-9 at the end of the first quarter.

But Salina (6-3) bounced back with 20 points in the second to take a lead it wouldn’t relinquish.
