Ricky Bertz - Interim League Commissioner

Ricky Bertz is no stranger to the Champions Indoor Football League as he was one of the people personally responsible for helping create the league by assisting in facilitating the merger between the Lone Star Football League and the Champions Professional Indoor Football League in 2014.

Moving forward, he is excited to once again be a part of the CIF, and help guide the league along with its playing partners, for the 2017 season.

Sonny Clark - Director of Operations

Sonny Clark has been handling the play-by-play for the Texas Revolution and their counterpart, the Allen Wranglers since there inception into indoor football all the while building great relationship with a lot of players, coaches and owners of the CIF.

In spite of his busy schedule, He still finds the time to run a CIF board on Facebook. Sonny is eager to learn all aspects of the business as he has always expressed an interest in how the business of indoor football runs from the teams themselves to the front office. His undying passion and drive come from his love of the arena game, dating back to when the Arizona Rattlers joined the AFL.

Additionally, he has a popular weekly sports show on internet radio and calls local high school football and basketball games for his hometown Rowlett Eagles. Sonny also had the prestigious opportunity to be enshrined in the Minor League Football Hall of Fame in 2013 for broadcasting.
