The Champions Indoor Football League (CIF) is excited to announce a new media partnership with Pluto TV for the 2018 season. Pluto TV is an industry leader in streaming free live content on all of your favorite devices. Pluto TV is an app that can be downloaded to any smart device and from there you will click on your favorite CIF Teams Channel and enjoy the games for free. Ricky Bertz CIF League Commissioner said, “We’re so excited to be partnering with Pluto TV for the 2018 Season. This will be a great platform to not only get our league more exposure but also each team. It will be advantageous to our sponsors as well as give each player additional exposure to help further their football careers.”
Another exciting change for the 2018 season is that coaches now have the ability to challenge plays, similar to the process of the National Football League. Coaches will be allowed to challenge turnovers, scoring plays, and catches. Each team is allowed 2 challenges per game, in the event a challenge is unsuccessful that team will lose a time out. If both challenges are successful, the team will be awarded a 3rd challenge providing they still have a time out. League Commissioner Ricky Bertz said, “We felt in order to improve the quality of the game this was a unique opportunity we elected to incorporate into the CIF. This will continue to allow us to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the game. We’re looking forward to implementing it for this coming season.”
The Champions Indoor Football league officially kicks off it’s 3rd season of play this weekend when the Wichita Force visit the Salina Liberty and the Texas Revolution travel to take on the Dallas Marshals. For more information visit the CIF website @ www.gocif.net.
