The Wichita Force has announced the signing of wide receiver Harry Peoples for the 2017 season.
Peoples (5'9, 193) played for the Tri-Cities Fever of the IFL in 2013. With the Fever, Peoples hauled in 45 catches for 499 yards and 10 touchdowns. Peoples also contributed in the return game with 394 yards on 19 returns and 1 touchdown. His 20.7 yard return average was best in the IFL that season. Prior to joining the Fever, Peoples participated in mini-camp with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent.
Peoples attended the University of Louisiana Lafayette. In two season with the Ragin Cajuns, Peoples hauled in 122 catches for 1,514 yards and 6 touchdowns. Peoples led the Ragin Cajuns in receptions (64), yards (817), and touchdowns (5) his senior season in 2012. He was a two-time winner of the New Orleans Bowl with the Ragin Cajuns in 11’ and 12’, beating San Diego State and Eastern Carolina University.
Peoples is a native of Winona, MS. Prior to Lafayette, Peoples was a standout returner, receiver, and running back for Holmes Community College. Peoples was most recently a member of the Lura Bulls in Sandnes, Norway where he served as the team’s quarterback for 6 games in 2015.
